After severe hair fall due to unhealthy diet, I had to at least restore the texture of my hair. My hair is straight and silky from the top and wavy as you go down. If it’s a good hair day, they turn into beautiful soft curls. In order to restore my texture, natural oils and the moisture, I decided to use a silicon-free shampoo.

My first buy was the Miniso shampoo which comes along with a conditioner. It was a fair bargain, costing me Rs. 600 ( the shampoo only). The initial washes gave me surprising results with zero-frizz and silky appearance. I wasn’t ready to give up my natural hair texture, but I kept using the shampoo. After multiple washes my hair got super dry with hair strands escaping my ponytail. They clearly lacked moisture and I had to get an alternative instantly.
This time I wasn’t sure if I should consider buying a silicon-free shampoo as I felt my hair wouldn’t get used to it. I came across Palmers coconut shampoo in Naheed Super Market and to be honest I wasn’t convinced, It just didn’t feel right. I had spared Rs. 600 and the Palmer’s shampoo was three times of the loss I faced.
Anyway, when I go shopping with my sister who is good at making decisions, I end up buying things which I am extremely confused about (I made her try it first).

So far, I am loving this shampoo. It really leaves my hair full of moisture and doesn’t strip off the natural oils. It leaves my hair natural looking and doesn’t need conditioning after the wash. I would suggest this shampoo to people who want to embrace their natural looking hair. I believe a shampoo can’t make your hair silky. It can only enhance the look of your natural hair. This shampoo is doing it the right way hence a 10/10.
